Thank your for your interest in our web site and
programs. BirdCOR is proud to coordinate Rochester Flying Wild
an innovative training program for teachers and other educators,
aimed at enriching science education through cross-curricular, activity-based
teaching methods and student-driven learning activities. We also
maintain a Service-Learning program, designed as a Clearinghouse
for matching expert resources with youth groups to do service projects
with an environmental focus. Conservation of and education about
migratory birds and habitat is our core concern. BirdCOR programs
are funded through grants and donations. Let us hear from you. Click
the Contact Us button near the top of the page and send an e-mail
to me or another member of the Planning Council. Again, thanks for
visiting.
